In recent days, we’ve seen how clumsy the Instagram app has become. The company is attempting to cram too many features into the app, including Reels, Remixes, an algorithmic feed, and NFTs.
Ansh Nanda and Hardik Patil became so frustrated that they decided to create The OG App, which provides users with an ad-free and suggestion-free Instagram feed.
The OG app is available for both Android and iOS. This app is not creating a new social media platform; rather, it is filtering the cram features and providing an ad-free experience.
We had a tweet bot for Twitter, relay, and apollo for Reddit and his original app as the Instagram client.
I at Corta News start daily tech news with “The Morning Show newsletter” and you can subscribe to it and get the latest tech updates every day. If you want any suggestions and queries on smartphones or tech then ask questions on Quora.
I tried to log in with my Instagram account to the OG app and it was fairly simple. Simply sign in to your Instagram account on the OG and everything is pretty minimal and simple to use.
This OG app allows you to create multiple feeds that look similar to Twitter lists. You can, for example, create feeds for food, sports, technology, and other topics. On launch, users can select a default feed. Users can prioritize another list over their own home feed in this manner.
This app also allows you to turn off the feed for 24 hours. So you won’t get any updates until you wait 24 hours or turn it on.
The rest of the features, such as saving and sharing, appear to be very similar to Instagram.
