Best phones to buy (May 2022)

Phones are getting better with each day. The phone, which was released last month, was now out of date. Every week, a new phone is released in India. Flagship phone prices rise year after year, while budget phones improve year after year.

Here, I’ll show you the best smartphones on the market in your price range. Starting at the bottom.

Phones under Rs. 15,000

Realme Narzo 50

If you had a budget of Rs.13,000, the Realme Narzo 50 was the first phone to be purchased. This was Realme’s most recent low-end phone.

The Realme Narzo 50 was an incredibly affordable smartphone. This phone is powered by a Mediatek Heli0ย G96 processor, which is adequate for daily use and light gaming.

  • 6.6 inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 50MP + 2MP Macro + 2MP Depth camera
  • 16MP selfie camera
  • Mediatek Helio G96
  • 5000mAh + 33W fast charger

If your budget was somewhat like Rs.16000 then you need to choose Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

The Redmi Note 10 Pro was the ultimate budgetย phone. It has an AMOLED display and stereo speakers for enhanced multimedia. Another compelling reason to purchase the Redmi Note 10 Pro was its processor. This phone has a Snapdragon 732G processor, which is superior to the Helio G96.

  • 6.7 inch Super AMOLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 64MP + 8MP Ultra Wide + 5MP Tele Macro + 2MP Depth Camera
  • 16MP Selfie camera
  • Side-mounted fingerprint
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G
  • Stereo speakers
  • 5020mAh Battery + 33W fast charger

I can’t think of any drawbacks to this phone. I also recommend purchasing this phone over the Realme Narzo 50 because it has a better display, processor, cameras, battery, and specifications.

The price of this phone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at Rs.16,999.

Phones under 25,000

There are many phones in the Rs.20,000 to Rs.25,000 price range, such as the Oneplus Nord, but I prefer the iQOO Z6 Pro.

iQOO Z6 Pro

The iQOO Z6 Pro is the best phone for the money, with the best processor and video experience. The processor was a Snapdragon 778G, which was ideal for gaming and multitasking on a daily basis.

iQOO Z6 Pro

Because the iQOO Z6 Pro is a new phone from iQOO, you will receive the most recent software updates for the next three years.

  • 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz display
  • 64MP +8MP Ultra Wide +2MP Macro camera1
  • 16MP selfie shooter
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC
  • 4,700mAh battery,
  • 66W charging
  • 8GB/12GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM
  • Android 12-based Funtouch 12

I had previously thoroughly reviewed this phone. I discussed the specifications and why I chose this phone over others in this section.

This phone costs Rs. 23,999 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

You can also consider the Redmi 11 Lite NE 5G, which has the same specifications as the iQOO Z6 Pro.

Phone under Rs. 40,000

Redmi 11T Pro

There are no words to describe why this is the best phone you should get right now. The Redmi 11T Pro is powered by a strong chip. It has a Snapdragon 888 CPU, which allows you to play demanding games like BGMI, COD, and Asphalt. The Redmi 11T Pro also has an excellent camera. The main camera has a resolution of 108MP and produced stunning images.

  • 6.67 Inch AMOLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 108MP Wide + 8MP Ultra Wide + 5MP telemacro
  • 16MP Selfie camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 888
  • 5000mAh battery + 120W fast charger
  • Alexa inbuilt.

With all of these incredible capabilities, the Redmi 11T Pro comes with three years of Android updates (Android 14) and four years of security updates.

As previously stated, budget phones are improving, and this was a prime example. The iQOO 9 SE was the ultimate powerhouse phone for less than Rs. 35,000. The iQOO 9 SE was the entry-level model in the 9 series. This iQOO 9 SE is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor. This phone is ideal for gamers because it has several gaming features such as a Vapour cooling system, 4D Vibration, and more.

  • 6.62 Inch AMOLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 48MP + 13MP Wide Angle + 2MP mono camera
  • 16MP Selfie camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 888
  • 4500mAh battery + 66W fast charger
  • 4D Vibration, Dual Stereo speaker
  • Intelligent display chip
  • 4500mAh + 66W fast charger

When compared to the Redmi 11T Pro, this may be a slight downgrade. However, if you want a better gaming experience with extra features such as 4D Vibration and Vapour cooling, it was well worth it.

Flagship phones

Flagship phones have the greatest specifications on the market. There are numerous phones available, including the Samsung S22 Ultra, OnePlus 10Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and iQOO 9 Pro. All of these phones fall into the flagship category.

I’m not referring to the iPhone 13 series or the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra because they are the best phones on the market. Those are your options if you have a budget greater than Rs. 1 lakh, but we’re talking about phones that cost less than Rs. 70,000.

iQOO 9 Pro

The iQOO 9 Pro was the beast of all smartphones, handily defeating the OnePlus 10 Pro, which has comparable features. However, the iQOO 9 Pro offered the most value for money.

I previously discussed the iQOO 9 Pro against the OnePlus 10 Pro. In this summer sale, the iQOO 9 Pro was getting a better value than other flagships.

  • 6.78 inches 120 Hz AMOLED display (2K display)
  • Processor:
  • Rare Camera: 50 MP Gimbal Camera + 50 MP Fisheye+ 16 MP, Dual OIS
  • Selfie Camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 4,700mAh
  • Wired Charging: 120W Flash Charge
  • Wireless Charging: 50W Wireless Flash Charge
  • Funtouch OS 12 is based on Android 12.

So those are my top picks for smartphones. These phones were currently on sale on Amazon. So go ahead and check them out right now. If you have any other suggestions, please leave them in the comments area. If you find any errors in the post, please leave a comment or DM me on Twitter.
